I give up, how do the clips that hold the automatic door lock vacuum lines onto the pump work? They did not "pull" out and I did not want to break them to find out. What do I do to release the line so that I can test the individual line for leaks? The car is a E320 Wagon.

That is exactly the kind of products mercedes uses nowadays!
You have to pull it out, but the chance of breaking anything is obvious there... The connectors and plugs mercedes uses for their vacuum system are not half as repair-friendly as they used to be. The plugs on the vacuum lines into the pumps and pump itself, however, do not break that easily (as long as you rotate/pull the line gently). greetingz, |
