117 Crank Identification Help
Can anybody tell me what engine this crank belongs to? Is it from a 560, 500 or 380?
Part # 117 0312 1018 (the 3 could be a 8 but it looks more like a 3) Thanks for the help -- dbenz |

Hi Dbenz
Where did you obtain this part number from? A valid MB number is formatted as follws 117-032-10-10. I will investigate your number to see if the numbers fit the format, if they do than I might be able to shed some light on this matter. |

Prelimanry investigation, according to the number listed and fitting it into the MB format, shows that it belongs to the 500 series engines. (117.963)
Please bear in mind that if you plan on fitting that crankshaft into an engine than a more thorough investigation of the crankshaft is highly recomended (Crankshaft dimensions) |
