Hello, I need carb help on my 200. I think this may be a very rare car, I am thinking this only becuase I have never seen one before.

The car is surging at very little throttle or holding a consistent throttle at any speed.

I have run gum out and super unleaded all the time and the problem gets better and then worse again.

What do the Mercedes god's advise?

like a vacuum leak. examine all hoses particularly where they go into a rubber fitting. if that reveals nothing the leak could be in the dist. vac advance or the brake booster. also could be in the hvac if it has the automatic type. i am guessing it is manual hvac as it sounds like a euro spec car.
