I am looking to replace my transmission cooling lines(not the hose but the metal tubing). My concern is how many and now long are the tubes. i cant quiet remember?

I would agree with Tom, factory parts are your best bet. What happened to your original parts that they need replacement?

just
ask for the transmission cooling lines. your old ones will unbolt and the new ones bolt in. i haven t personally done it but that is all there is to it. i beleive i have seen on this site that fishing the old ones out is a little tricky.

thanks alot for all your imput. i just recently bought a new tranny and before i take the old one out and put the new one in i figured i would go ahead and put the new lines on the new tranny befor i put it in.

There are 2 lines. And they aren't cheap. It might be easier to find some decent ones in a junk yard. I recently swapped the right side out. They are a pain to put in and out with the engine mounts still on. I did it that way and you have to really work at it to snake the line into position. You'll likely want new bushings for the hardlines and you might as well replace te flex lines going from the hardlines to the cooler. Be very careful when removing them, dissimilar metals and all that. I've read lots of posts of people breaking things on the cooler.

where would the bushings go?
do they connect to the tranny, hoses or the radiator? i already have new hoses.
