1989 300SE Low IDLE (Just Replaced Battery)

I was having a low idle and the ABS light was on. I had the battery checked and it was bad. Replaced it yesterday and had a stong idle and the ABS light went out. This morning low idle again and ABS light on again. I'm stummped. When I turn on the AC idle drops down below 500 RPM. Any help would be greaty appeciated. Thanks.

this is very indicative of a bad overvoltage relay fuse.

Thank you for the help. Could you please tell me where the relay is located? Does it look different than others. Thanks again

Thanks again for the help. I found it but it does not have a red top ( It is sliver)and the fuse looked fine. Would the fuse have been blown? Could it be the wrong part was put in. The problem I descriped is intermittant. Could this relay still be the problem. Thanks

well most times the top is red. if the red fuse was good then it could be the relay. this does cause intermittant problems.
just recheck all fuses.
