This is on my 1980 300SD. My blower motor (for the climate control system) was starting to go so I got a new one, expecting that the blade would come with the motor. It did not. I tried taking the blade off of the old motor, but broke the blade in the process. I have been unable to locate a new blade for less than $400 (which is unacceptable for a fan blade). I tried all of my used parts places and they say that they will not sell the blade separately. If the motor is bad they toss the whole assembly.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to obtain a blower blade?

Did you try a request through PartsShop? They can supply used parts as well, I believe. If they can't help you, you might give http://www.europarts-sd.com/ a try - I got my used Euro lights there for a pretty good price. How badly is the blade broken? If it is just one vane, you could remove the opposite vane to balance the fan, test it out on the bench for vibration, and use it that way with slightly reduced airflow. However, if the structure is broken anywhere except a vane, I wouldn't try this. Good luck

If you cannot find a place try a junk yard.

I got responses from the Parts Place and EuroParts and neither will sell the blade/cage separately.

Nor will a used parts/junk yard sell them separately. When the motor is bad, they trash the whole thing.
