94 e320 noise coming in from driver side front wheel?

As stated above there is a noise that i can hear around 40 kmph and starts to rud faster but not so noticebly. I have also noticed vibrations in the steering round 120 and over to about 190 kmph. NOt sure if both are related problems but I don't think these vibrations should be there cause sometimes they occur at different speeds. 160 or 170 or 120.
I'm a new MB buyer and have no clue what could be causing the 'rudding' noise. The car is a 94 E320 w124. Thanks

Could it be a broken belt in the tire? I would start with the tires first. I had the same problems and suspected the suspension. The suspension was fine - it turned out to be the tires.
