Too much fuel
 
:confused: HELP. I have an 87 300 turbo diesel I've just replaced the injection pump on. It skips on #1, getting way too much fuel and I'm not sure why. I only know that if I slightly crack the injector line, the skip goes away. Delivery valve seems OK, but I can't be sure.

need more history on that car. why the pump replacement?
