Heater Problem W124 Series

Hello,

I'm confused! Hot and Cold air is normal in passenger side but only cold air coming into driver's side!

I understand there are two 'duo valves' one for each side I assume, is this likely to be the problem or will it be a temp sensor in the driver's compartment?

Would stop working now it's cold in the morning!

Look forward to hearing from anyone who can assist.

Chris

This could be either the PBU or a vacuum pod. Remove the glove box and remove the hoses from the switchover valve one at a time and check to see if they hold vacuum. If there are any that do not, make note of its position and post the info here. I will look up which pod is leaking.

Good luck,

Thanks Larry but could be difficult cos no glovebox, air bag fitted.

Sorry to appear stupid but what is a BPU?
