no electric power to fuel pump 450se

no power to fuel pump however , the pump will run if sockets 1and 3 are jumped at fuel pump relay. The engine will not run if this done. History of car, it sat for one week had run fine when parked, during this time left headlight assembly was removed and reinstalled. Any sugestions as to what may be wrong here? this is a 1973 450se I believe it to be a euro model.

No power to fuel pumps; MAS???

My 1990 300CE has 58,650 miles on it; it ran perfectly for 56,000 miles; I then garaged it for the last several years only putting another 2,500 miles on it. It now has a problem of intermittent stalling or not starting. Tests today revealed power going to the MAS but not coming from the MAS to the fuel pumps. Would this indicate a bad MAS or can some other item (Oxy sensor, ICV, etc.) be giving the MAS improper reading?

thanks for advice on relays, that was the first thing that I had tried, changed all that I could find. I am now suspecting a bad ECU.

allright' now I am asking for some help. On this no power to the fuel pump I can not find the main fuel injection relay. I have looked at one under the right dash, four are behind the left kick panel, and four i checked in the fuse box left side of engine compartment. As of now I can not find any relays with the correct color code per my wiring diagram. Any help will get you a big thankyou from me.
