Speed sensor on differential W124 260E 1988 manual gear box

1 Attachment(s)
I am struggling like many of us in this forum about stalling sources.
Can some body tell me if this speed sensor is used by the Injection control module, and if this (faulty may be) sends any signal to OVP, Fuel pumprelay, injection conrol unit?

Thanks in advance.

speed sensor ABS

My '85 190D has an ABS sensor on the rear differential. You can verify yours by taking the sensor out, plugging the hole and driving about 50 yards/meters and your ABS light will come on (if so equipped). Don't think the sensor does anything but ABS sending.

Doesn't this car have a crank sensor. I think you should be lookig at that if it does.
