What causes a C230 monoblade to hesitate at 12:00 position?
 

I have searched here to see if this problem exists with others. i found a bunch of issues with the wipers here but not exactly like mine. The monoblade on our 1998 C230 has started to hesitate for one to two seconds when it is in vertical position during its sweep. is this a stripped gear problem or in need of grease?

It just needs lubrication. I do mine twice a year.
