1985 MB 300TD - Suspension/hydraulic hose leaking
My suspension/hydraulic hose (pictures attached) coming out of my hydraulic oil reserve is leaking. The hose appears to be made out of rubber or similar - not a metal line.
Is this a simple hose replacement? I can not find any part number listing. What would the part # be? TIA, JJ |

JJ,
I'm not sure by the pictures which line we are talking about? The third pic is of the power steering pump lines. The high pressure line is sold commonly as an assy-but a shop specializing in hydraulic lines can replace the rubber. The low pressure line is the one with the hoseclamps. You can buy the hose section from MB or a on-line supplier for $15. I think it comes as a 1 meter piece and you trim to length. I've gone down to a hydraulic shop and purchased 3/8 hydraulic hose and put it on also. Key is NOT to use fuel/water line hose. Have you called and talked to the FASTLANE guys? The can probably help you! Michael
