timingchain help on 89 190e 2.6

i have a 89 190e 2.6 and my timing chain broke completely and was wondering if their are any tips on taking the fan clutch off so i can take the front timing cover off?

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but seriously, if you are having a problem getting the fan clutch off, I suggest you back away from the idea of doing the job yourself. Have it done professionally or hook up with a backyard mechanic before you get deeper than you want to be in this thing. Good luck.
