Need to find a part

I am looking for an Ignition Module for my '93 300 SE. I really don't want to go the Mercedes to purchase this in that is costs 2600+. I would be fine with a remanufactured part or salvage part.

Anyone know where I might be ablt to find one?

Part number is:

bosch 0227400824 or mercedes 0145452432

Thanks,

Tony

check ebay. search for mercedes EZL or mercedes ignition control module. plenty of them there for the m103 engine.

I got quoted for one for my car around $1500.00 used. But when searching I found several on ebay for your engine model, whether the part numbers are the same I have no idea..

Alon,

Thanks, for the info.

I am rather new to wrenching MB cars, you mentioned engine model and there might be different part numbers. is there anywhere I can cross reference my model with engine number/chassis number etc?

Thanks,

tony

Exclamation

The 1990 300SE(L) have a 103.981 engine.

The EZL from any 1990 & later car with ANY M103 engine will work on that car! ie; 300E/300E 2.6/ 190E 2.6/ 300SE! Has to be from 1990 & later!!

Try www.adsitco.com I believe a rebuilt unit costs around $700.
