Brake Warning Lamp Issues

I had a local mechanic replace all four sets of brakes on my 2000 E320. He couldn't get the warning light to go off. Is there a way to do this without taking it to Mercedes?

You mean the yellow brake pad indicator light? If that's it, you replace the sensors and the light goes out. If the "mechanic" doesn't know that,....

He may not even be a Mercedes mechanic...but if he knew enough to get past the "active brake sensing" mechanism...hmmm.
