Just a question

Hi ,

i am wondering if anyone has found anything to replace the header pipe on the M 110 ? the lousy Y piece MB put on there crack after a few years and you almost need to take out another mortgage to pay for a new one

Can anyone tell me of anything they have done and how ???

do you mean

the first piece of steel pipe afterthe cast iron header? if so have you priced an ansa part? the only other choice is to have a piece fabbed by a local muff shop. this will be a lot cheaper but typically will not last more than 20% as long unless you get it with a long warranty and then you have to decide if you dont mind becomming good friends with the folks at the muff shop as you go in every couple of years to get the part replaced.

yes the first section of pipe out of the header sorry in oz we call it a manifold ....... anyway it is a cast piece that is in the shape of a Y maybe the american versions are different ?
