Sun visor repair - I think I've got it!!!
About 6 weeks ago, I posted about a W124 sun visor (driver's side) that had fallen out / off and asked for help with a fix. I had looked at the archives and found that everyone said that there was no cheap way to repair without going the MacGyver route, and replacing the visor (thanks to mirror AND lighting) is well north of $100 from the dealer.
I have come up with a fix that I believe will be a long-term solution. I already have 7 photos but am not complete with the repair yet. Once I've got it ready to install (probably tomorrow), I will finish taking the photos and would like to post them here so that all of you with W124 and W201s that have the same situation will have a fairly simple way to fix the problem along with simple directions on how to do it. My total costs for materials is around $6 - much less if you've already got a two-part epoxy glue at the house. Moderator, please let me know how I might be able to send you the instructions and photos to post onthe board. THANKS!
