95 S420 ASR Light comes on while turning ?
Over the last 4 months my S420 has 3 times "set off" the ASR light while turning. Both L and R turns have triggered the light. Each time going into limp home mode, but would return to normal after a re-start.
What might be causing this--- where should I start looking? At this point it's just an inconvience since it has re-set OK each time . This last time, yesterday, it had not re-occured for several thousand miles. Every time it was at slower speeds while turning (2 lane intersection - 90 degree turn) at possibly 20-25 mph. Not the same intersection and no slippery stuff on the pavement that I saw. And I was not driving aggressively enough to cause tire slippage I don't think. Tire pressures are equal at about 32 lbs. Same brand Mich tires, no tire wear problems, abt. 30 thousand miles on tires. any thoughts appreciated. DanielW |

Asr
I had a similar problem, however, it only happened when turning 90 degrees left between 25-35 mph. I replaced the right side cable which resolved the issue.
