Idle Control Valve--More

'88 300E

Have new hoses, and observing the new hose and the position of old hose as installed, it appears the hose from valve to intake manifold also serves as entrance point for cold start injector and that it would be easiest to temporarily remove the injector when replacing hose.

Is this an accurate observation?

Other tips?

You kinda have to remove the cold start valve, since it fits into the idle control valve hose.

Thanks for confirming my observation.

Every archive thread only says "change hoses."
