2.3 engine number

Can someone tell me what the engine number is for a 1990 2.3 8 valve engine? Is it a 102 or another number. The chassis is 201.024.028

it is either a 102.961 or a 102.985 depends on the chassis number, if you want to know exactly send me your vin and i will let you know

Thanks. According to an online manual it is a 102.985.

All M102 engine numbers are in the same location! BEHIND the ignition distributor on the side of the block UNDER the intake manifold!

VERY hard to see!
