Quick Question - W202 power steering fluid brands/specs
 

My 1994 C220 didn't come with an owners manual....so I quite confused today at my local AutoZone trying to select power steering fluid. The C220 definately doesn't use ATF (the fluid looks clear), but can it use regular off-the-shelf power steering fluid from STP/Valvoline etc?

If it is the same as my 98 C230 then it is special stuff from the dealer with no sub available. I did a lot of checking on this. I could find no sub for it.

I just buy it from the dealer, a quart is $10.
