Question 1998 E320 fog lamps removal

One of my front fog lamps went out and I need to replace teh bulb.

Before I go and start removing body parts how do you remove and replace teh front fog lamps on a 1998 E320?

Many thanks.

BTW, I'm using SilverStar bulbs in all of my cars and they are really very, very nice. The light is a lot brighter than the standard bulbs. I only wish they were cheaper.

If I remember correctly, I think you need to take off the lower engine encapsulation panel and then the fog light assembly can be removed from underneath. Then take out the bulb, and replace the bulb and assemly.

I think there are panels on the bottom of the car so you don;t have to remove the whole panel...

On The W210 you have access to each fog lite...from under the car
There is a door at each side on the front lower splash panel...use a screw driver to open the access door and reach up to the fog lite
