W201 190E 2.3 8V heater issues

Ok so I know my aux water pump works but it does not work! If I ground the brown ground wire at the pump it works fine, but if I do not then it does not work so I am assuming bad ground. My heater valve also does not close when the CC unit is in the off position. I replaced the vacuum unit in the dash to no avail. Neither works properly, I am awaiting a new CC unit as well to see if that is the issue. But i am thinking there is something no grounded somewhere but do not know where that ground would go. Since there are so many ground points with mulitple wires in this car. I know the heater valve works as well and when I pull the line there is no vacuum present at it when the CC is off. Been chasing this for months. I do get heat and all vents work as they are supposed to. No vacuum leaks either.... Does anyone know maybe where that ground is. Or if this is some issue with the CC unit? Also when off and I have the pump ground there it does not shut the pump off! IS the pump ground taken away instead of 12V when the CC is off?

Help!!!!
