Hi , I am new to the board but happy to have found it. Please suggest a tech manual, I have not seen one around and I have owned the car for six years and would like to find a guide. I must say I am amazed at the way some of the accessory parts ( dash , headlamps etc ) go together!
I would like to replace my rear shocks with OEM factory. Is this pretty straight foward or are there little Stuttgart tricks to be aware of ? It does look like the interior finishing pieces of the trunk must come out. Any help out there?? Thanks . |
Welcome Bob,
Buy the factory CD's, for a little over $100, they are available here, so are the shocks, at the partsshop. Just click on the partsshop box up on the screen and get a quote. If you are a DIY'r, it will be the best investment of your life. The trunk liner has to be removed to get to the shocks. Good luck, |
Welcome Bob,
If you don't want to spring for the CD,pick up a Haynes Manual. You can get them from most parts stores or off the net. http://www.haynes.com They will either help you stay out or get into trouble, depending on your perspective. They run about $15.00 |
