Just had service B at 103k miles. Noticed it was serviced with 9qts of Mobil1. THat seems a huge amount to me, or am I being taken to cleaners.

Also had previous B service 16 months ago. Cost has gone up $250. Outrageous in my opinion.

Also now offer B required(599), B Recomended(749), B Premium ($929). Are these worth it os should I go to an independent.

9qts of Mobil1 sounds right. It's about $5/qt. retail.

A good independent can do all the same maintenance and likely save you some money. You can also do it yourself and save lots of money if you're inclined to do so. The schedule A & B tasks are well documented on this forum.
