I just received a new infrared remote key for my '95 G320. Problem is, it doesn't work. I tried new batteries, no change. The bar coded and numbered strip on the key matches the original exactly. Any clues? is there a teaching process for the key or should it work out of the box?

Hristo, Thanks, when all else fails look at the instructions. Funny thing is when I went back out to syncronize the remote I found out that I had already inadvertantly done it without knowing! The process is to point the remote at the receiver, hold the button briefly then turn the key to position 2 before 30 seconds elapse.
