Transmission Identification
 
Dumb question perhaps, but how to I tell EXACTLY which tranny I have in my 1984 300SD? I believe mine to be a 722.3, but I'm not 100% sure. Is there an ID tag on the vehicle or tranny that is accessible?

Right side of the transmission just above the pan gasket line.
