Help. My sunroof panel is squeaking like crazy. I've seen mention of how to remove the headliner panel in the archives but I'm unsure of the exact method. Does the sunroof need to be popped up in the back or slid back? Then do I pull it straight away from the sunroof or does it need to be slid?

sunroof squeak
I had a similar problem with the 300se sunroof - it was an auto controlled by a remote button by the rear-view mirror.
What did I do? Pump some WD40 and it stopped squeaking. However, due to age (I think), the sunroof dont close as well as it should. What do I do? Give it a bang from the inside, and it pops right out back in shape. Hope it'd work for your squeak.

Thanks, but it's actually just the trim panel. The sunroof itself seems fine. When I push the panel up about 1/4" it squeaks.
