Took of the air cleaner housing to give it a once over clean and install a KN and was suprised to notice that when I pushed down on the throttle plate it gave about 1/4 inch before resistance was felt, is this normal? Does it need adjustment?

Yes its normal on that model.

just wondering, how to clean the inside
of the throttle body? is it safe to push the plate down deep and spray clean it with cleaning solution? |
