Smile transmission vacuum

Hi,

We're new to the forum. On our '87 300 SDL the shift is rough. I have followed the vacuum hose from the trans, through the firewall where it is disconnected. Can someone tell me to what the hose should be connected under the dash? Is this an easy fix? Thanks.

The vacuum line that is connected to the drivers side of the trany should go to a control that is mounted on the drivers front wheel well.If you send me your email I can email you a pic of the vacuum line diagram.
