HELP car died
 

92 500sel. Wire for left camshaft advance has broken insulation and while car was running wire shorted to ground. Sparked and car died. Does not start anymore. Im thinking the fuse but which one? Seems like same wire go directly into LH computer. What do I do? Any ideas?

There are 4 10 amp fuses in computers compartment. 1 was blown. Car runs again. POS wiring harness. Shame on Benz for that:mad:

Shame on owner for neglecting maintenance. Car is 13 years old, and things happen.

Well I just bought the car and ordered new harness. Also Im fixing a lot of things that PO did not. But wiring harness is faulty from the factory. Also its 13 year old car but I don't think engine wire harness is maintaince item. Its like change your engine as per maintaince at 150000ml. Find me a car that requires replacement of wiring harness per maintaince.
