does anyone have any information on having a power steering box sealed..
I was told if I have my old one sealed it would only last a year or so..for $500.00 but if I bought a reconditioned one it would last about 5 years..for $750? anyone know if this is true or should I save $250.00?? benzat 1982 380 SEC |

I can't say how long it will last, but I just had mine resealed. Parts are about $35.00 - $40.00 and it involves approximately 4.5 hours labor. I fully expect the seals to last many years and many miles.
No more steering fluid leaking on the garage floor and during the reseal the wormshould be set back to spec making for a "like new" steering feel.
