'78 107 heat all THe time
 

I have a 78 450slc the heat is on all the time no matter where i have the climate control dial, all the hoses have been Replaced. Could the climate control on the dash be bad or that thing on the pass side that all the heater hoses go thru? any help would be appeciated. Don

Most likely it's that "thing." It's called a climate control servo. And it fails on a regular basis. I don't know if FastLane sells a rebuilt replacement, but it's at least 500 bucks anywhere you go. If you're on a tight budget, www.**************.com sells a "cheap 'n dirty" quick fix kit -- it ain't pretty, but it will get you some heat! :cool:

There are also a couple of companies that build an electronic replacement that is far superior.
