1990 420SEL Alarm Troubles
Hi
I am having troubles with the alarm - it won't turn off and stay off. I have tried resetting the alarm with the key but no luck. At first it seems as though the alarm is reset but in a few minutes it turns on again. Under the mats, passenger side there are 2 silver panels and 1 black panel. All have a wire harness leading in. I would love to disconnect the alarm / fix it - which box houses the alarm system? Any ideas on what is causing the problem and how to fix it? Thanks NSD99 90 420 94 940 96 Ram 2500 |
The alarm control unit is the black one, rectangular in shape. Pull the large plug from it and leave it disconnected.
