2003 6 cylinder losing oil and coolant

2003 ML 320 started "using" oil and coolant about 6000 miles ago. Vehicle has 69,500 miles on it, not obvious that it is burning the oil, nor is the oil contaminated with coolant, but the vehicle is using 1 liters of oil every 2000 miles, and about 2 lliters of coolant in 4000 miles. this happened all of a sudden. I told my dealer when I had itin for last routine oil change, and they seemed not concerned?

The oil consumption is not really that bad. If it is stable and does not increase, I would not worry about it.

The coolant usage, on the other hand, is not normal. Either it is leaking it or some coolant is finding it way into the combustion chamber and it is getting burned. 2 liters of coolant every 4,000 miles is extremely excessive.
