P1170 code on 1994 c220
 

Hello,

Could someone please tell me what the code P1170 means
on a 1994 Mercedes c220? This code is not a generic OBDII code and is different for different car manufacturers, so I would like to know its specific meaning on that specific car model.

Is it related to the EGR blocking issue?

possible causes:
vacuum leak
fuel injectors
fuel pressure regulator
mass airflow sensor
engine wear
