P1170 code on 1994 c220
Hello,
Could someone please tell me what the code P1170 means on a 1994 Mercedes c220? This code is not a generic OBDII code and is different for different car manufacturers, so I would like to know its specific meaning on that specific car model. Is it related to the EGR blocking issue? Thanks. Eric

P1170 is "short time adaptation to limit value"
possible causes: vacuum leak fuel injectors fuel pressure regulator mass airflow sensor engine wear all above is quoted from mercedes servive manual
