Climate Control prolem 126 Chassis
 

Hello I have a 83 300SD that the climate control is not operating properly. It will not activate the blower unless you roll the temp dial all the way down to max cold. I tried changing the blower relay that sits beside the fan but that was not the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it works at max cold and max heat (check that), then blower speed #6 is OK. Could be the wire wound resistor pack is out for the other speeds. The "toaster is between the two firewalls near the brake booster.

Thanks for the reply. I found the problem to be the cold lock out switch at the thermostat housing.
