Brake rotor specs for a 190E 2.6

Does anyone know the min. wear limit for the brake discs on a '92 190E 2.6. I need to know both front and rear. This is for my inlaw's car. I measured his rear brakes and it is at 9mm. I tried looking up the specs for my wife's '87 TD but the "E-Class Bible" actually doesn't even list it. Well rather there is a chart, but it doesn't say if the numbers given are for new discs or the wear limits. I figured the the numbers would be the same for both cars since the cars are designed alike.
My father inlaw had winter tires put on and the garage told him he needed new rear rotors. He thinks there just trying to make a buck. I know that the wear limit for my '83TD (much heavier car) is 8 mm.
Thanks, and Happy New year

Thank you very much. This will actually help me with another issue with their car. The parking brake lever won't stay up and engaged. Obviously something is wrong with the ratcheting mechanism. Now, I know how to take the center console apart and start digging.
