How do I remove the interior light assembly?

I want to replace the cabin temperature sensor on my 1989 300SE (W 126). It is located in the interior light assembly, on the roof above the rear view mirror. How do I pull the light assembly down without breaking it? Do I need to remove the sun roof switch before doing so? Anyone with experience, I would appreciate your wisdom.

There are two holding clips on the right side, just pull the right side down and it should come out.

Thanks, Rob, I'll give it a try tonight.
