Hello everybody, i´m new in this forum. I have some trouble with my car ´92 300 ce 24 Ke3-jetronic, i´m experiencing difficult cold starts (none warm, cold valve does inject) and high revs idling (no signal going to idling valve whatsoever). Went to MBZ dealer and checked with their pulsemachine and they told me the Throttle valve switch is faulty and the O2 Sensor is in shortcircuit.
First, are those faults reason for cold start problems?
Second, in your experience, does the TVS fails? i couldn´t find any for my car but a gentle mechanic gave me one for a M103 300 e, dismantled it and found well done and almost impossible to die of natural causes. But before i open mine i want to ask you if it is made like M103 one or is it potentiometer like, with carbon tracks that would fade off.
Somebody told me could be the potentiometer in the Air flow Sensor Housing, pulsemachine says another thing anyway i purchased a new Pot. from olyonline.
