W123 Lower Control Arm Bushing Replacement

About to replace my lower control arm bushing and a blown ball joint on my 1983 300CD (driver's side). Any tips before I try to crack that 24mm bushing bolt? It looks like a bugger even if I have the load taken of it. I think I have the ball joint under wraps....but any added secrets would be more than appreciated!
Cheers and thanks

hope you have a really good coil spring compressor on the spring before your try this....its under 4" of compression at full droop....don't want you killing or maiming yourself.

Well I've got her started! Steering arm is off, new ball joint in, control arm bushing off and ready for reassemble.
One quick question...I marked the eccentric control arm bushing bolt but was wondering what a standard position for this adjustment might be or what the adjustment specs are on it before i do my final tighten (If i can get her back on 4 wheels first ;))
Spring was fun...I've never had a deadly stare-down with a slinky before...spring compressor took good car of him though!

Any thoughts before I go out to reassem?

I used a carpenters level and a string bbetween the front and rear tires to set my alignment close enough to take it to the alignment shop.....

oh..and go back at least three times to make sure you tightened every nut and bolt and didn't miss one.
