Left Directional Signal Works/doesn't Work

I own a 400E which has had so many problems with electrical issues that I've been driven nuts. After replacing everything from the Actuator to the Wiring Harness (for LIMP HOME issues), I've noticed that the Left turn signal doesn't work when first started in the AM. The Right turn signal works fine at all times. Once the car has driven a short while, the left signal indicator starts blinking again. Any ideas?

Check lamp bases for corrosion.

Be sure all of the signal lamps make firm contact with their socket.

Be sure each lamp filament is secure. They can be broken, but make intermittent contact after being bounced around in driving.

Try replacing the lamps. If that is too expensive, you can swap left and right pairs and see if the problem changes sides.

Left Directional Signal Doesn't Work

Has anyone else ever had this problem? I've checked the bulbs and good contact is being made in the socket. The hazard lights work too.
Could there be a solution other than replacing the directional arm? Help! it's expensive.

Check the ground. I had a problem with a front head light and signal. The ground looked tight, but I took it apart and re tightened it. It has been fine for 2 months now.

i get this on a regular basis, front and back. usually its enough to remove and reseat the bulb. clean out the sockets, brush the bulbs and see if you can extend the spring contact in the base to make contact with the bulb more securely.

Replace the relay.

Left Directional headache

Replace relay? Where is this part located? Is it part of the lens backing? I've been driven nuts over this. I have changed all bulbs and checked sockets. All seems fine yet, only the right directional works. Brake lights are fine as are hazard lights. Any other ideas??

I am having similar problems. My front right headlight was not working, brand new bulb, good connection. So I took it out and tapped it really hard, and gradually it lit up, and stayed lit. After having to do this several times at night, it now works all of the time. The main problem for me is the lights on the back right side of the car. I have replaced them time and time again, and they seem to go out every few weeks. I am beginning to think it is a bigger problem, but don't know where to start. I have heard that a battery running too rich can be a problem. Also, my dashboard lights are all out, including the AC/HEAT knobs and anything else that would light up inside the car. Although the warning lights still work on the dash. So basically the only light I have inside my car is the light telling me my lights are broken, just a little irony right there, but if anyone has suggestions other than the relays. Fuses maybe? Thanks.
