vac line on 420 sel

Ok I was looking under my hoood {420SEL 1989} the front pass side right behind the head light I found 2 vac lines jus laying there with no connection, one hose is white with a blue stripe & the other one is white with a blue & a red or burgungy stripe, I also see a little connector that has 2 inlets, the lines look like they came off the connector(but I dont know)
could any one tell me what these lines are for and if they goto the connector I found? Does this have anything to do with the tranny? im getting late shifts also my door locks move slow is that normal ?

One more thing where is the ICV located and is there a way to get tranny fluid out without draining the tranny, the trans has too much fluid in it(when i checked the level numorus times its always gives me a high reading above the two marks on the dip stick)

Well g'day Skee Bo, and it would appear nobody answered your questions!

Loose vac lines - do you have Euro headlights with the level adjuster? If so does it work? They may be for that. Without a picture it's hard to tell. Those vac lines will not have anything to do with your door locks - they are on a separate vac system, but if they are slow, you may have a leak in that system.

The ICV is at the front of the engine, up the top just peeking out from under the air box, about the size of a roll-on deoderant bottle. It has an electrical connector on one end (closest to the grille) and a thick rubber hose out the side - quite short. The ICV is silver.

Getting trans fluid out without draining the trans is simple. Stick a very clean hose down the trans dipstick hole and suck it out.

I use oxygen tubing and a 20ml syringe - but I have access to these.

Cheers
