380sl clock question?
I recently started blowing fuses for my dash and radio. After pulling one connection at a time it turns out to be the clock is popping the fuse. Now my question is do I replace the clock or have it fixed and where. The clock is a vdo and the only place in town that works on vdo will charge me $150.00 just to look at it. Anybody have any thoughts on this!

My +12V wire to the clock's plastic insulation tab is broken (brittle with age). Is yours? Sure it's not hitting anything when you put it in the car (the back of the cluster is grounded-maybe pressed in to far)?
