cruise control
 

My cruise control was working just fine. I got the factory engine manual and decided to adjust linkages to factory spec's. Now the cruise control won't work. The lever arm on the top of the cruise control goes from stop to stop with no resistance anywhere. Is this normal or did something internal come loose? Tried setting links back to old settings and it still doesn't work. Are any of you gentleman familiar enough with these to give me a hint. Car is a 1990 350SDL. Thanks:confused:
