It is quite industrial, but Moseley is like a village about 5 miles from the city. It's quite nice where I live, we have some nice local pubs, and plenty of shops. There is also a high population of Mercedes as well!!

I imagine Moseley is to Birmingham as Ketterring to Luton.
I'll wager you will be the first M/B owner with a K&N filter. Won't you be the one. If you want to improve your intake even more, try: http://home.earthlink.net/~asherson/Don You will be in for an eye opener. Happy Trails Pip Pip from Houston!!! Donald, El Cheapo Yank |

Donald,
I have not seen the link to your page before...I love the homemade stuff! I know very little about cars, but am purchasing manuals and CD's to learn, and these items will be of great help. One question, I didn't see the homemade intercooled supercharger for the 400E, you still working on downloading the pictures? :-) Great site, Brian W. |

Donald,
In Moseley I will definately be the first K&N filter user in my MB. But around Birmingham we have a lot of boy racers in 190's and CE's. So I think some of them may have pipped me to the post. Although I'm definately the first guy to have a K&N in a 126! I'll have a look at your site when I get home, but for some reason that domain has been banned at work. Cheers

Brain, thank you for the kind words about my "El Cheapo" stuff.
But you have me confused with another, I have nothing for a 400E. Happy Trails Beep Beep from I'm sorry Houston!!! Donald, El Cheapo |

Sorry Donald
The intercooled supercharger remark was just a really poor attempt at humor!
Still love the site, Brian W. |

I love it, I'm sorry, but I'm a little slow on catching your humor.
If the weather clears tomorrow, I may install a 16 inch thermo controlled electric fan replacing the original clutch unit. I've been wanting to do this for many years. Eliminating the shroud is one big jump in ease of maintaince. I'm wanting to remove the second air intake from the passenger side, then remove the left side fog lamp assembly for the intake position. I will use a conical K&N Filter and direct into the intake, eleminating the OEM filter assembly completely. Except for day time driving lights I think the fogs here on the Gulf Coast aren't used that much. One lamp would be adequate with the side lights. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston!!!
