need help installing cd changer
 

this is on a '01 slk320

I have the cd changer and the mounting brackets. I've read posts here and there about problems with sporadic play and the radio cutting out. I've heard about the SDS (Star Disgnosis System) and have no idea what this is. My understanding is it a system that recognizes the change to the audio system and eventually the whole system fails? Is this possible? If so, can someone help me figure out what I need to do to install the changer?

just wanted to point out the irony of using "feedback", I am trying to do the same on my 1993 400E, but that is some double wired system that is very complicated.
