Hi does the R129 have a blower regulator like the W140;s do???



what are the common things that go wrong with the ealy R129???

Yes they do have one its 129 821 33 51 not as popular as the 140, I have only sold a couple of them. If you need one check with Bill in Parts shop they do not show them availble in fastlane but he could probably get it. However the 129 blower motor is very comon and I do sell plenty of them 129 820 90 42 they are availble in Fastlane at http://www.peachparts.com/catalog

Both the blower and the regulator are Specially priced (bg) for the 129 car. The regulator comes with the blower if I remember correctly and the most common reason for regulator failure is high current loads due to problems with the blower motor itself. I would recommend replacing them both as a unit if I'm right about the reg coming with the blower.
